Brooke at Rising Minds Counselling
Life can get complicated and sometimes the people around you, or even your own head, just isn't enough to work through it all. Sometimes it helps to have somewhere else to take it.
I'm a counsellor who works with young people aged 16-25 entirely by phone or video so my support fits around your life, not the other way around.
My approach is pretty simple: I follow your lead. Sessions are not about me telling you what to do or handing you a checklist of fixes. Each session is about us working together, at your pace, in a way that makes sense for you.
I draw on different strength based therapies depending on what is useful including Person-Centred, Solution Focussed, Narrative as well as some grounding techniques. But none of that matters more than just genuinely listening to what's going for you.
The values I bring into each session are curiosity, honesty, realness, kindness, and respect for your independence. You are the expert on your own life, my job is to help you access that, not override it.
